888 Holdings was established in 1997 with their first proprietary product, Casino-on-Net, launched in May of the same year. In 2002 888 launched their second casino Reef Club Casino as well as the popular, well recognized 888.com brand. In the same year they launched their first multi-player poker rooms Pacific Poker.
888 also established Random Logic Limited in 1998 to provide research, development and marketing services to 888.
In 2003 888 obtained a gaming license in Gibraltar and moved their headquarters plus operating center there as well. The company was also a founding member of eCOGRA, the pre-eminent industry benchmark of consumer protection.
